Main Contract works included provision of a fully designed working scaffolding, made particularly challenging due to scaffolding being required to two large lightwells and all rear elevations. Scaffolding was erected to the front and carried over the roof to access the rear elevations. Works included a specialist “Kemper” roofing system to provide a suitable cost effective alternative to a potentially very expensive roof replacement.
A comprehensive survey of the existing windows was carried out and conservation joinery repairs completed prior to a full redecoration program. Continual tenant liaison was needed to complete extensive interior and exterior works and internal office refurbishment to offices on the fourth floor.
