Commercial Stone successfully completed the supply and installation of 4,500m2 of terrazzo tile flooring to the new International Station in Kent.
As part of the £800k package we carried out all the ceramic tiling to toilet and washroom facilities within the public areas.

External stone replacement and repairs were carried out to the perimeter plinth of the hospital and extensive restoration of the stone paving to the public areas were completed by Commercial Stone.
As part of the £100k package Commercial Stone also completed alterations to the stone steps to comply with the new DDA requirements.

On a continuing programme Commercial Stone are progressing through the estate ensuring that all road crossings and steps meet with the DDA requirements.
Specially cut from granite, textured paving and contrasting nosing strips have been installed throughout the estate whilst maintaining safe and proper access for the public.

New stone flooring and cladding have been installed to the lift lobbies of Barclays Bank’s impressive new offices at Canary Wharf.
Careful stone selection was needed to ensure the lift lobbies at the various levels matched in keeping with the client’s requirements.

Extensive brick and stucco restoration was carried out to the various facades of this local landmark.
Cracks to the brickwork were carefully cut back to expose a rusting steel framework that was subsequently treated and matching brickwork reinstated.

Stone cleaning and stone restoration was carried out to the impressive facade in Victoria.
Decorative Portland Stone features were gently cleaned using non agressive methods and the stone restored using specialist repair mortars to match colour, textue and profiles.

Commercial Stone have been employed by HSBC on a number of separate projects in their Head Offices at Canary Wharf.
Granite restoration works were carried to the flooring of the main entrance lobby and new matching granite flooring supplied to the lift lobbies at various levels.
All toilets and washrooms in the tower have been fitted out with new granite vanity tops and ceramic tiling.
Over a Christmas period Commercial Stone were asked to completely strip out the flooring to the kitchen area and new ceramics laid. This was successfully completed and disruption to the working of the kitchens was avoided completely.
Project: Retail Area 1, Canary Wharf

Commercial Stone were employed to lift the existing worn stone flooring to the original retail area at Canary Wharf with no disruption to the workings of the shopping mall.
Over a series of nights and weekends, temporary tented protection was erected, the stone and underlying screed was lifted and removed. New screed and stone was laid and the temporary protection removed to allow public access for the following morning. The works were completed with the members of the public and shop tenants unaware of the works that were happening overnight.
